Who is Loyalty NZ?

Loyalty New Zealand is New Zealand’s expert in loyalty, and runs the largest and most comprehensive coalition loyalty programme in New Zealand – Fly Buys.  In addition to this Loyalty New Zealand undertakes a range of marketing services for clients including customer insights, analytics, modelling and reporting under its brand LAB360. A key part of our organisation is our Client Services Team, who work closely with our clients.

The Role

The Business Development Manager is primarily responsible for prospecting for new clients – as well as developing and implementing a suite of tools, templates and processes to manage our business development pipeline.

This role will take the lead in developing proposals and pitches as required, and work with internal stakeholders to assess product and service development opportunities.

You’ll also support the growth of our current clients by looking for new opportunities to develop the way we work with current partners.

We’re looking for someone with strong experience (five years plus) in new business development or sales management, and who has dealt with a diverse range of clients. You’ll have sold solutions at a head office or group level, and have experience within tech, services, data solutions and/or marketing industries.

Sound commercial acumen and the ability to conduct research and analysis to inform business development activity is a must. A strong customer focus and a desire to take action and achieve results will be key. You’ll also ideally be able to take an innovative approach to find solutions.
