Who is Loyalty NZ?

Loyalty New Zealand is New Zealand’s expert in loyalty and runs the largest and most comprehensive coalition loyalty programme in New Zealand – Fly Buys.  In addition to this Loyalty New Zealand undertakes a range of marketing services for clients including customer insights, analytics, modelling and reporting under its brand LAB360.

The role

We are looking for an Information Security Manager – this role is critical to the continuing success of Loyalty New Zealand and will enable active and effective information security risk management.

You’ll be responsible for:

  • Ensuring we collect, store and share data & other information appropriately
  • Maintaining and enhancing an information security-aware culture
  • Enabling and facilitating the uptake of cloud technology that is robust from an information security perspective
  • Ensuring we are well prepared to respond to any information security incident

We are looking for someone who has experience identifying and advising on information security risks - and how to mitigate them - within a company that manages large database/s of personal information and transactional data.

You will be a subject matter expert – and always keen to learn to stay relevant - with detailed knowledge of applicable legislation, ISO Standards and best practice. You’ll know how to design and implement risk management frameworks and have a strong working knowledge of cloud models and their risks. You will be able to accept new challenges and be able to learn from your mistakes.

Being able to adapt and embrace change, you’ll contribute new ideas on how we can do things better. You’ll be proactive, manage your priorities and follow through on promises – putting team goals first, and collaborating across the business.
