Manager – Digital Production

  • Creative, vibrant, fast paced organisation
  • Leadership opportunity
  • Wellington based – right on the Wellington waterfront!

Who is Loyalty NZ?

Loyalty New Zealand is New Zealand’s expert in loyalty, and runs the largest and most comprehensive coalition loyalty programme in New Zealand – Fly Buys.  In addition to this Loyalty New Zealand undertakes a range of marketing services for clients including customer insights, analytics, modelling and reporting under its brand LAB360.

The Role

Are you someone who bridges the worlds of digital marketing and technical expertise?

We have a rare opportunity for a digital marketer to manage the Digital Production team. As an experienced email marketing technician, you will manage the deployment of email campaigns that make Fly Buys customers want to engage and shop within the Fly Buys network, earn Fly Buys points and spend those points on our great range of rewards.

Not only are you a subject matter expert in email, but more broadly you’ll be experienced across several digital channels and platforms that will help guide personalisation, automation and relevancy of communications. Being responsible for the health of the emailable member base, you will monitor and report on deliverability, in order to guide contact strategy.

In addition to managing the team workflow, this is very much a ‘hands on’ role which includes working with HTML and data to build campaigns within our Oracle Responsys email platform. There will always be multiple campaigns on the go at any one time and you’ll enjoy working with multiple stakeholders.

We’re looking for someone with:

  • 4 or more years’ experience in a related field (working with HTML & CSS)
  • Proven people leadership experience
  • A strong understanding of EDM platforms and best practices
  • Excellent communication skills – and attention to detail!

You’ll be adaptable to change – showing initiative and contributing new ideas to the team. Delivering on promises is important – as is setting clear goals and expectations for your team. This is a busy role and managing priorities and stakeholders is key. You’ll put the team goals first – collaborating and creating an inclusive environment to help your team achieve.

You’ll have a broad knowledge in the digital marketing space – and will always be keen to learn, and share your learnings. Your decisions will be based on long-term thinking, and you will always be on the lookout for opportunities to optimise and improve.
