Congratulations to Rebecca Barnett who was crowned 2018 Rookie Marketer of the Year at TVNZ–NZ Marketing Awards last night in Auckland.
The Marketing Association hosted it’s eighth annual awards evening where the best in the industry were celebrated.
Rebecca (Becky) joined Loyalty NZ as a rewards co-ordinator almost two years ago, but her sharp commercial skills meant she was quickly recognised as a rising star. She worked her way up into a unique marketing/commercial role within the Rewards team as Rewards Marketing Executive and became instrumental in developing an e-commerce-based sale strategy for the Rewards store with outstanding success.
Becky won Rookie Marketer of the Year 2018 and said. “I definitely want to stick with Loyalty NZ and work my way up to bigger and better campaigns. I want to remain customer-centric and create some great marketing results that create value to the company.”
The judges said: “Rebecca is an incredibly impressive data-driven marketer who’s as at home talking about margin improvements and incremental revenue as she is products and offers. Rebecca impressed the judges with the breadth of her influence from the positioning of the Fly Buys rewards store to supplier negotiations. Rebecca demonstrated the impact that a smart data-led marketer can have on a business.”
