Rewards Marketing & Commercial Specialist (12 month Fixed Term)

Who is Loyalty NZ?

Loyalty New Zealand is New Zealand’s expert in loyalty, and runs the largest and most comprehensive coalition loyalty programme in New Zealand – Fly Buys.  In addition to this Loyalty New Zealand undertakes a range of marketing services for clients including customer insights, analytics, modelling and reporting under its brand LAB360.

The Role

We are looking for a Rewards Marketing & Commercial Specialist to join the team for a 12 month fixed-term period. Our Rewards Team manage one of New Zealand’s largest eCommerce sites – the Fly Buys Rewards Store.

You’ll be responsible for:

  • Procuring new rewards opportunities, marketing them effectively, and delivering an excellent redemption process.
  • Assisting in negotiating supplier agreements and monitoring metrics
  • Contributing to the Rewards Strategy
  • Executing the delivery of the redemption plan

You’ll also work to ensure a great customer experience and ensure our Rewards Marketing plan is aligned to our strategy. This role will also be responsible for providing timely and accurate reporting, creating new offers for our customers and communicating through our varied channels to drive sales.

To be successful in this role you’ll have experience in retail, or procurement, or buying/ category management (1-2 years plus) and a passion for excellent data driven, direct marketing.

We’re also looking for you to have:

  • A customer-centric attitude, with great relationship management skills
  • Exceptional communication skills
  • An entrepreneurial insight – with a strong understanding of the commercial aspects of running a business.
